DJIA Only Had One Winner - Wal-Mart (WMT)

Wal-Mart (NYSE: WMT) was the only stock in the Dow Jones Industrial Average to close in positive territory. Today's gain, $0.43 (+0.86%), was attributed to February same-store sales and an increased annual dividend.

Comparable store sales (without fuel) rose 2.5% at Wal-Mart Stores and 2.8% at Sam's Club or 2.6% total. Total company comps rose 3% with Fuel.

WMT approved an increase in the annual dividend to $0.95 per share, 8% over the $0.88 per share paid during fiscal year 2008.
