DCX May US Sales Up 2%
DaimlerChrysler AG (NYSE: DCX) reported total group sales of 232,386 passenger vehicles in the U.S. for May 2005, a two percent increase compared to May 2004. All sales figures in this release are on an unadjusted basis unless otherwise noted.
Chrysler Group posted sales of 214,575 vehicles in the U.S., a decrease of three percent. Adjusted for two fewer selling days in May 2005 compared to May 2004, sales actually rose six percent.
