DBRN Reports April Sales Results

The Dress Barn, Inc. (NASDAQ: DBRN) reported its fiscal April and Third Quarter sales results. Total sales for the four-week fiscal period ended April 30, 2005 increased 44% to $104.9 million compared to $73.0 million reported for the comparable fiscal period ended April 24, 2004. Same-store sales increased 3% for this fiscal monthly period, and include same-store sales for Maurices, which was acquired January 2005, in both years.
