DBRN Announced Dec Same-Store Sales Up 8%

The Dress Barn (Nasdaq: DBRN) announced total sales for the five-week fiscal period ended December 31, 2005 increased 75% to $147.2 million compared to $84.1 million reported for the comparable five-weeks ended January 1, 2005. This year's sales include maurices, which was acquired January 2005. Comparable store sales increased 8% for the month of December.
