Cost-U-Less (CULS) Reports Increase in April Sales
Cost-U-Less, Inc. (Nasdaq: CULS) reported an increase of 3.8% in same store sales (stores open a full 13 months) for the four weeks ended April 29, 2007 (April 2007). For the corresponding period a year ago (April 2006), the Company experienced a same store sales decrease of 0.7%.
Total sales for April 2007 increased 2.7% to $16.8 million, compared to $16.3 million for the corresponding period a year ago. Total sales for the seventeen weeks ended April 29, 2007, increased 1.9% to $72.4 million, compared to $71.0 million for the corresponding period a year ago.
