Cosi (COSI) Comps Up 4.5% in Q410

Cosi, Inc. (Nasdaq: COSI) reports system-wide comps in Q410 increased 4.5% from Q409.

A break-down:

• Company-owned - up 6.1%;
  
  
• Franchise-operated - 1.8%; and
  
  
• Total system - 4.5%.

Sales:

• Company-owned - $24.63 million, not including a $3.07 million decline from the sale of 13 company-owned restaurants;
  
  
• Total system revenues were $25.36 million.

Cosi noted that the Company-owned comparable restaurant sales increase for the 2010 fourth quarter was comprised of a 3.8% increase in traffic and a 2.3% increase in average check.
