Citi Trends (CTRN) March Comps Up 12.8%

Citi Trends, Inc. (Nasdaq: CTRN) said comparable store sales increased 12.8% for the five-week period ended April 1, 2006, compared with a 14.4% increase in the prior-year period. Total net sales for the five-week period ended April 1, 2006 increased 32.7% to $32.7 million compared with $24.7 million for the five-week period ended April 2, 2005.

Citi Trends, Inc. is a value-priced retailer of urban fashion apparel and accessories. Shares of the company closed at $39.94 on Wednesday, with a 52-week range of $14-$49.25.
