Christopher & Banks (CBK) September Same-Store Sales Up 9%

Christopher & Banks (NYSE: CBK) reported total sales for the four-week period ended September 23, 2006 increased 19% to $42.0 million from $35.3 million last year. September same-store sales rose 9%.

For the seven months ended September 23, 2006, total sales increased 18% to $316.1 million from $268.8 million last year while same-store sales increased 8%.

Joe Pennington, Chief Executive Officer, commented, "We are very pleased with the customer response to our new Fall merchandise. September results were driven by strong sales at full price. Looking forward, we continue to have a positive outlook regarding our prospects for the remainder of the Fall and upcoming Holiday selling seasons."
