Children's Place (PLCE) May Same-Store Sales up 18%

Children's Place Retail Stores (Nasdaq: PLCE) announced total consolidated sales increased 25% to $112.7 million, compared to sales of $90.4 million reported for May 2005. PLCE reported consolidated comparable store sales increased 18% in May.
May sales included $79.6 million from The Children's Place brand, a 25% increase compared to last year's sales of $63.5 million, and $33.1 million from Disney Store, a 23% increase compared to last year's sales of $26.9 million.
