Chico's FAS (CHS) Reports May Same-Store Sales Increased 7.2%

Chico's FAS, Inc. (NYSE: CHS) reported May sales results for the four-week period ended May 27, 2006, increased 20.4% to $141.1 million from $117.1 million reported for the prior year's four-week period ended May 28, 2005.

Comparable store sales for the Company-owned stores increased 7.2%.
