Cato (CTR) Reports August Same-Store Sales Up 5%

The Cato Corporation (NYSE: CTR) reported sales for the four weeks ended August 29, 2009 of $59.0 million, a 6% increase over sales of $55.6 million for the four week period ended August 30, 2008. Same-store sales increased 5% for the month.
