CHS Reports January Sales

Chico's FAS, Inc. (NYSE: CHS) reported January sales results for the four week period ended January 29, 2005, increased 23.6% to $68.3 million from $55.3 million reported for the prior year's four week period ended January 31, 2004. Comparable store sales for the Company-owned stores increased 8.2% for the four week period ended January 29, 2005, compared to the same four week period last year.
