Chico's FAS, Inc. (NYSE: CHS) said comparable store sales for the Company-owned stores increased 14.0% for the four-week period ended July 30, 2005, compared to the same four-week period last year.
The company anticipates earnings per share for the second quarter to be in the range of $.26 to $.27 cents per share, which compares to the consensus of $.26.
