Big Lots Sees Same-Store Sales up 0.1%

Big Lots (NYSE: BLI) reported retail sales for the five weeks ended April 2, 2005 of $415.7 million, a 5.3% increase compared to retail sales of $394.9 million for the same period in fiscal 2004. Comparable store sales for all stores open at least two years as of the beginning of the fiscal year increased 0.1% in March.
