BONT Announces May Sales

The Bon-Ton Stores, Inc. (NASDAQ: BONT) announced total sales for the four weeks ended May 28, 2005 decreased 6.5% to $89.0 million compared to $95.1 million for the same period last year. Comparable store sales decreased 6.1%.
