BONT Announces April Sales

The Bon-Ton Stores, Inc. (NASDAQ: BONT) announced total sales for the four weeks ended April 30, 2005 increased 4.5% to $87.2 million compared to $83.5 million for the same period last year. Comparable store sales increased 4.9%.
