BEBE Reports Same-Store Sales, Reaffirms Q1 Earnings

Bebe stores (Nasdaq: BEBE) announced retail sales of $39.2 million for the four-week period ended August 27, 2005, an increase of 26.5% compared to sales of $31.0 million for the four-week period ended August 28, 2004. Same store sales for the four-week period ended August 27, 2005 increased 16.9% compared to an increase of 9.2% for August 2004. BEBE reaffirms Q1 earnings guidance.
