BEBE Reports Dec Same-Store Sales and Q2 Revenues

bebe stores (Nasdaq: BEBE) reported retail sales of $84.2 million for the five-week period ended December 31, 2005, an increase of 11.1% compared to sales of $75.8 million for the five-week period ended January 1, 2005. Same store sales for the five-week period ended December 31, 2005 increased 1.1% compared to an increase of 28.0% for December 2004. Retail sales for Q2 of fiscal 2006 were $169.7 million vs analysts estimates of $174 million.
