BEBE Announces January 2005 Sales

bebe stores, inc. (Nasdaq: BEBE) reported retail sales of $29.3 million for the four-week period ended January 29, 2005, an increase of 41.5% compared to sales of $20.7 million for the four-week period ended January 31, 2004. Same store sales for the four-week period ended January 29, 2005 increased 29.3% compared to an increase of 4.8% for January 2004. For fiscal January 2005, same store sales were determined using a comparable period of 28 days.
