AutoNation, Inc. (NYSE: AN), announced that its retail new vehicle unit sales in July 2012, as reported to the applicable automotive manufacturers, totaled 21,650, an increase of 14% as compared to July 2011.

- 6,451 for Domestic, up 5% versus July 2011,
- 11,510 for Import, up 26% versus July 2011, and
- 3,689 for Premium Luxury, up 1% versus July 2011.
