American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. (NASDAQ: AEOS) said May Comparable store sales increased 11% for the month. May sales were driven by a favorable customer response to the summer assortment and on-going strength of the American Eagle brand.
Based on May sales performance, the company is reiterating its second quarter earnings guidance of $0.39 to $0.41 per share.
