American Airlines (NYSE: AMR) reported a May load factor of 81.7% -- a one-point increase compared to the same period last year. Traffic decreased 2.9% year over year as capacity decreased 4.0%.
Domestic traffic decreased 2.5% year over year on 4.0% less capacity. International traffic decreased by 3.7% relative to last year on a capacity decrease of 4.1%.
