American Airlines (NYSE: AMR) reported a January load factor of 75.2%, an increase of 0.1 points compared to the same period last year. Traffic decreased 1.2% year over year as capacity decreased 1.3%.
Domestic traffic decreased 2.7% year over year on 2.3% less capacity. International traffic increased by 1.7% relative to last year on a capacity increase of 0.4 percent.
American boarded 7.7 million passengers in January.
