American Airlines (NYSE: AMR) reported a February load factor of 76.9% -- an improvement of 0.3 points compared to the same period last year. Traffic increased 2.5% year over year as capacity increased 2.0%.
Domestic traffic decreased 0.5% year over year on 0.2% less capacity. International traffic increased by 8.4% relative to last year on a capacity increase of 6.0%. American boarded 7.1 million passengers in February.
American Eagle reported a February load factor of 69.0% -- down 0.4 points compared to the same period last year. Traffic decreased 2.4% year over year as capacity decreased 1.9.
American Eagle boarded 1.5 million passengers in February.
