Airline stocks are on the move...higher. Many of the airline stocks are trading close to 52-wk lows and recently AMR filed for bankruptcy. However, with low valuations and the positive consumer sentiment report (Dec. UofM Consumer Confidence Up to 67.7, vs. Cons. 65.8 Dec 9, 2011 09:55 AM), shares are making moves.
Shares of Delta (NYSE: DAL) are trading at $8.59, up 0.41 (+5.01%), Southwest (NYSE: LUV) at $8.53, up $0.26 (+3.14%), United (NYSE: UAL) at $20.35, up $0.64 (+3.25%), Spirit (Nasdaq: SAVE) at $15.91, up $0.25 (+1.60%), JetBlue (Nasdaq: JBLU) at $4.96, up $0.21 (+4.42%) and even AMR corp (NYSE: AMR) has moved into positive territory $0.78, up $0.02 (+3.21%)
