ARO Aug Comps Up 1.3%

Aeropostale, Inc. (NYSE: ARO) announced that total net sales for the four-week period ended August 27, 2005 increased 21.8% to $136.5 million, compared to $112.1 million for the four-week period ended August 28, 2004. The company's comparable store sales increased 1.3% for the month, versus a comparable store sales increase of 6.2% in the year ago period
