APII January Sales Beats Estimates With a Gain of 57%
Action Products International, Inc. (Nasdaq: APII) announced that the torrid pace of growth continued as the company penetrated deeper into markets and continues to open new accounts. The previous estimate was for a gain of 40% but a rush of shipments in the final days of January pushed the sales figures higher. The sales for Jan. 2005 were a new all time record $634,700 vs. $405,100 in 2004. That brings 12 month trailing sales to $9,300,000 vs. $8,200,000 by the end of Jan. 2004 up 13.5%. Preorders remain high as the company prepares for the American International Toy Fair later this month. This should cause an expected shift in sales with a very modest gain in February and an extra strong sales gain in March.
