ANN Announces May 2005 Sales Results

Ann Taylor Stores Corporation (NYSE: ANN) announced total net sales for the four-week period ended May 28, 2005 increased 4.3 percent to $177,132,000 over total net sales of $169,873,000 for the four-week period ended May 29, 2004. By division, net sales were $74,768,000 for Ann Taylor compared to $78,055,000 last year, and $85,393,000 for Ann Taylor LOFT compared to $77,135,000 last year.
