Youse Guia Joins DoubleLine Capital LP as Chief Compliance Officer

LOS ANGELES, March 15, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Youse Guia, previously deputy chief compliance officer of Pacific Investment Management Company (PIMCO), has joined DoubleLine Capital LP as chief compliance officer of the firm and of the DoubleLine Funds Trust.

Before joining DoubleLine, Mr. Guia served as an executive vice president and deputy chief compliance officer at PIMCO, a Newport Beach, CA-headquartered asset manager. He also was chief compliance officer for the PIMCO Sponsored Closed End Funds and Managed Accounts Trust. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2014, Mr. Guia was the head of U.S. compliance for Allianz Global Investors and the chief compliance officer for the Allianz Funds from September 2004 through February 2014.

Mr. Guia previously worked six years as an audit manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers, specializing in the investment management industry. He earned his BS in business administration with a major in accounting, from the California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.

Mr. Guia succeeds Adam Rossetti as chief compliance officer of DoubleLine Capital. Mr. Rossetti continues at DoubleLine as an attorney in the firm's legal department.
