Wilson & Company Celebrates Second Annual Higher Giving Campaign
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects, is proud to announce the continued success of its corporate philanthropy initiative, Higher Giving, now in its second year. In total, $85,414 was raised between corporate and employee donations.
Building on the momentum of its 2025 launch, Higher Giving once again paired each of the company's offices with a local nonprofit nominated by the firm's employees. Wilson & Company provided corporate donations to each selected organization and challenged employees to match or exceed those contributions. For the second year, they delivered.
This year's selected charities include:
- Los Ojos de la Familia
- La Casa
- CASA of El Paso
- Code Red Animal Project
- Making Strides Against Breast Cancer
- The CARE Project, Inc.
- Adam's Camp
- Colorado Fourteeners Initiative
- Loveland Habitat for Humanity
- ManyPaws Animal Rescue
- Camp Encourage
- Salina Food Bank
- Ozarks Food Harvest
- Society of St. Vincent de Paul
The selected charities span a wide range of causes, from food security and animal welfare to youth development and environmental stewardship, reflecting the breadth of causes Wilson & Company employees care about most.
This year, employee engagement extended beyond the donation drive. Throughout the summer, employees partnered directly with their selected charities in the communities where they live and work. They hosted lunch-and-learns with charity representatives to learn about their missions, volunteered at Ozarks Food Harvest to pack more than 26,000 pounds of food, gathered a basket of supplies for ManyPaws Animal Rescue, and will participate in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk later this year.
In total, Wilson & Company and its employees contributed more than $85,000 to these organizations, exceeding last year's record-setting total of $73,500.
"We celebrate the amount of money we raise, but this is about being part of the bigger picture of collective giving," said Jim Brady, PE, President and CEO of Wilson & Company. "Any contribution makes each employee an important part of a larger network that shows up for our communities beyond what our projects deliver."
Wilson & Company thanks its employees for their continued generosity and unwavering commitment to the communities where they live and work. The firm looks forward to growing the Higher Giving tradition for years to come.
