Wiley Announces Quarterly Dividend
HOBOKEN, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- John Wiley & Sons, Inc. (NYSE: JWa and JWb), a global provider of knowledge and learning services primarily in areas of science, technology, medicine, mathematics, engineering, and business, announced that the Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.31 per share on its Class A and Class B Common Stock, payable on January 13, 2017 to shareholders of record on December 27, 2016.
In June, the Board of Directors increased Wiley’s quarterly cash dividend by 3.3% to $0.31 per share on its Class A and Class B Common Stock. It was the 23rd consecutive annual increase and raised the annualized dividend payout to $1.24 per share. Between 2006 and 2016, Wiley raised its annualized dividend from $0.40 per share to $1.24 per share.
