Western State College of Law introduces its fully online Master of Legal Studies program for working professionals in healthcare compliance.

Western State's innovative MLS program will equip graduates with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills crucial for navigating the complex healthcare regulatory landscape. Unlike graduate certificates, it offers a broader legal foundation, covering diverse topics like regulatory compliance frameworks, ethical decision-making, risk assessment, compliance strategies, crisis preparedness, and the balance between innovation and risk. This 30-credit curriculum is designed to meet the growing demand for skilled compliance professionals in the healthcare industry, providing a holistic understanding of compliance and preparing them for advanced positions in the field.

Graduates of the MLS program will be well-positioned for careers in various sectors, including hospitals, insurance companies, pharmaceutical and medical device firms, elder care facilities, and government agencies such as the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA), Federal Trade Commission (FTC), and Department of Justice (DOJ).
