WESTERLY, R.I., Sept. 21, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Board of Directors of Washington Trust Bancorp, Inc., (NASDAQ: WASH), today declared a quarterly dividend of 39 cents per share for the quarter ending September 30, 2017. This represents a one-cent per share increase over the most recent quarterly dividend rate, and the Company’s second dividend increase in 2017. The dividend will be paid October 13, 2017 to shareholders of record on October 2, 2017.
