Vermilion to Automate Client Reporting at Federated Investors

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Vermilion Software, Inc. (‘Vermilion’), the leading global supplier of client reporting and communications software, announces that it has signed a three-year contract with investment manager Federated Investors, Inc. (‘Federated’).

The arrangement will enable Federated to automate its reporting, reduce manual workflows and improve operational efficiencies across multiple departments, eliminating duplication of effort. Other significant benefits to Federated include the scalability and flexibility of the Vermilion Reporting Suite.

Federated was founded in 1955 and has grown to become one of the nation's largest investment managers, with $369.7 billion in assets under management.

Key to the deal was proven integration with existing portfolio management systems. The Vermilion Reporting Suite provides the automation, workflow and distribution capabilities of client reporting that address this need, as well as related client communications features.

The Boston software firm sells primarily to asset managers, wealth managers, hedge funds and asset servicing firms and has over 40 successful implementations under its belt in North America.
