Vallen Distribution Announces Sonia Timmons as Chief Financial Officer

BELMONT, N.C., March 4, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Vallen Distribution ("the Company"), a global leader in optimized indirect industrial supply chain solutions, has appointed Sonia Timmons as the Chief Financial Officer, effective March 1, 2025.

Timmons joined the Company in 2007 as Senior Financial Analyst. Since then, her career has progressed to Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis, Director of Corporate Finance, Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis, and her most recent role as Senior Vice President of Finance.

She has provided strategic leadership across North America, organizing and directing operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, revenue cycles, accounts payable, accounts receivable, accounting policies, and controls. Her tenure has included mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, where she provided financial information and acumen that bolstered the decision-making process and maximized value for our organization.

Timmons' professional credentials include an MBA, a Bachelor's in Accounting and Finance, and she is a Certified Management Accountant. She has also previously served on the Industrial Supply Association's Women in Industry advisory committee.

As CFO, Timmons will lead the company's global finance organization and will be responsible for business finance, accounting, and financial planning and analysis.
