Vadim Avdeychik Joins Debevoise as Registered Funds Partner

NEW YORK, April 1, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Debevoise & Plimpton LLP announces that Vadim Avdeychik has joined its New York office as partner in the Investment Management Group, bolstering the firm's capabilities in the registered and retail funds space. In his new role, Mr. Avdeychik will advise clients in the investment management space primarily on regulatory and transactional matters related to registered and retail fund offerings.

Mr. Avdeychik brings to the firm substantial experience spanning the formation and operation of registered funds, business development companies and other innovative products designed for high net worth and retail investors. He also has deep experience advising fund sponsors and fund boards of directors on complex fund regulatory issues, investment company status issues, fund governance and complex asset management M&A transactions involving the purchase and sale of advisory businesses, joint ventures and strategic investments. Mr. Avdeychik regularly counsels clients on a variety of investment products including open-end and closed-end funds, exchange-traded funds, tender offer funds and interval funds.

Prior to joining Debevoise, Mr. Avdeychik was a partner in the New York office of another international law firm. He received his J.D. from Hofstra Law School in 2007 and his B.A. from St. John's University in 2004 and holds an LL.M. in Securities and Financial Regulation from Georgetown University Law Center. Mr. Avdeychik is the current Chair of the New York City Bar Committee on Investment Management.
