UnitedHealth Group Board Increases Shareholder Dividend 20%

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- UnitedHealth Group (NYSE: UNH) announced today that its Board of Directors authorized payment of a cash dividend of $0.75 per share, to be paid on June 27, 2017, to all shareholders of record of UnitedHealth Group common stock as of the close of business on June 19, 2017. This dividend represents a 20% increase over the quarterly dividend of $0.625 per share the Company paid in the second quarter of 2016. Future dividend payments are subject to Board approval and may be adjusted as business needs or market conditions change.
