Truck Hero, Inc. Appoints Marla Zwas as General Counsel

ANN ARBOR, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Truck Hero, Inc. (“Truck Hero” or the “Company”), a leading designer, manufacturer, supplier and online retailer of accessories for pickup trucks, today announced the appointment of Marla Zwas as General Counsel, reporting to the Company’s President and Chief Executive Officer Bill Reminder.

“Marla brings a diverse range of experience to her role as General Counsel, having managed a broad range of sophisticated legal work in both corporate settings and in private practice. Additionally, her experience within the automotive industry with both OEMs and suppliers will serve us well as Truck Hero continues its rapid growth in the automotive aftermarket organically and through potential strategic combinations,” said Reminder. “She is an important addition to our senior leadership team as we continue to position the company for our next stage of growth and we look forward to her future contributions.”

Ms. Zwas joins Truck Hero with nearly 25 years of legal experience. Most recently, she was Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel of Flagstar Bancorp, a $14 billion NYSE-listed national bank and mortgage company where she led the corporate and human resources legal functions. Prior to Flagstar, she served as Senior Counsel, Corporate Affairs for Chrysler Group (now FCA). During her tenure at Chrysler Group, she was lead securities attorney and primary advisor to the treasury and risk groups following the company’s emergence from bankruptcy. She initiated Chrysler Group’s public reporting with the SEC, and supported the company’s integration with Fiat. Ms. Zwas also brings automotive experience from Toyoda Gosei North America Corporation where she was General Counsel for the Japanese supplier’s $1 billion U.S., Mexican and Canadian operations.

Previously, she worked in increasing capacities culminating with a post as Associate General Counsel at national homebuilder Pulte Homes (now PulteGroup).

Ms. Zwas graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science. She holds a Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law. She serves on the national board of the Society for Corporate Governance, and is also active in the Women’s In-House Counsel Leadership Institute.
