Tropolis Continues Growth Momentum with Acquisitions of Four Insurance Agencies

Acquisitions Reinforce Presence in Michigan and Expands Reach to Chicago

ANN ARBOR, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Tropolis Insurance Services (“Tropolis”), an insurance brokerage that provides property & casualty (P&C) and employee benefits solutions, today announced it has completed the acquisitions of four premier insurance agencies. Terms of the private transactions were not disclosed.

The four businesses are BDMH Insurance Services, an insurance and risk management solutions agency for skilled nursing, assisted living, and independent living communities nationwide; Follmer Insurance Services, providing commercial & personal lines of insurance, including agriculture farm and life products; Madigan Pingatore Insurance Agency, specializing in hospitality, restaurants, hotels, and other commercial lines businesses; and R&A Insurance, specializing in commercial lines including churches, and contractors, as well as personal lines customers. BDMH is based in Chicago, and the other three agencies are based in the greater Detroit and Northern Michigan areas.
