Timothy Barefield Joins Kotter International as Managing Director

Experienced leader brings proven track record of growing businesses & building deep executive relationships

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Kotter International is pleased to announce Timothy Barefield has joined the company as a Managing Director, deepening the firm’s commitment to providing world class service and solutions to new and existing clients. Mr. Barefield will be responsible for accelerating business growth and developing deep relationships with executive clients. He will be based in Westchester, New York.

Mr. Barefield is an accomplished leader who brings more than 20 years of experience in leading change, cultivating strategic partnerships and delivering business growth.

Most recently, Mr. Barefield served as Chief Operating Officer of Pershing Square Capital Management, where he played a key role in facilitating the leadership team and scaling the business. A seasoned business executive, Mr. Barefield has also served in senior roles, including CEO for GiftCertificates.com and Vice President HR for Accor Hotel Group and Swissôtel.

Mr. Barefield earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from University of Mississippi, an MBA in Management from Rockhurst University and an M.A. from Harvard University in Organizational Behavior. He is fluent in both English and French.
