The Freeman Company Names William Davenport Chief Financial Officer

Dallas, TX, Aug. 31, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- DALLAS, Aug. 31, 2026 — The Freeman Company (TFC), a collective of expert brands delivering complex live experiences at scale, announced the appointment of William Davenport as Chief Financial Officer, effective August 31, 2026. Davenport reports directly to Janet Dell, CEO of The Freeman Company (TFC).

Davenport joins TFC from Aimbridge Hospitality, one of the largest privately held hotel operators, where he served as Chief Financial Officer. Before that, he spent a decade as CFO of Topgolf Entertainment Group, where he built the financial infrastructure, systems, and teams that supported the company's growth. Through his career, he has built a reputation as a culture builder who sets clear direction and helps finance teams grow alongside the business.

Before Aimbridge and Topgolf, Davenport held CFO roles at Velvet Taco and Haggar Clothing Co. and spent 13 years in finance leadership at Brinker International, home to Chili's and Maggiano's. He began his career at KPMG Peat Marwick.
