He also held a leadership position at Associated Administrators, a third-party administrator (TPA) serving multiemployer funds. Tierney holds the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designation through the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and the International Foundation of Employee Benefits.
