The Alto Adige Wine Summit 2025 Concludes with Strong International Response

This year's expanded Alto Adige Wine Summit welcomed six leading U.S. media representatives among 82 participants from thirteen countries, offering exclusive behind-the-scenes experiences, in-depth tastings, and opportunities to engage directly with local winegrowers and producers.

Bolzano, Italy, Sept. 9, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- The Consorzio Alto Adige Wines successfully concluded the Alto Adige Wine Summit 2025, the region's premier media event, which came to a close yesterday. For the first time, the summit was extended by two days, offering an expanded program tailored to different audiences. The opening sessions once again provided international wine journalists and opinion leaders with a comprehensive introduction to Alto Adige and its wines, while the newly added program was dedicated to sommeliers, specialist wine merchants, and representatives of the hospitality sector.

Organized biennially by the Consorzio Alto Adige Wines , the Wine Summit serves as a platform to showcase the region's wine industry and culture to international trade media and opinion leaders from key export markets in Europe, North America, and Asia. This year, the event, the largest of its kind, took place for the fifth time.

From September 4 to 8, 82 media representatives from thirteen countries explored the Alto Adige wine world: they discovered the region's diverse growing areas and their unique characteristics, exchanged ideas with winegrowers, and experienced the breadth of local wine production. The highlight was a large-scale tasting at NOI Techpark in Bolzano, featuring 365 wines from nearly 100 producers—an unprecedented opportunity to experience the breadth of Alto Adige's production in one setting.

This year's delegation included six leading U.S. media representatives, reflecting the continued growth of Alto Adige wines in the American market, which has become one of the region's most dynamic export destinations. Their participation not only underscored the international appeal of Alto Adige but also reinforced the region's growing ties with the U.S. wine market.
