“Shops feel it when we invest in the right things: in the product, in how fast we move, in the support they get. Bringing in Kristen at this stage is a deliberate bet on doing that even better,” said Lauren Langston, president and chief operating officer of Tekmetric. “She’s seen what it takes to scale software that people genuinely rely on, and that’s exactly the kind of growth we’re building toward — on behalf of our shops and the whole industry.”
Young brings deep experience scaling high-growth software companies, building finance functions from the ground up and helping teams grow with the discipline and rigor to sustain it. The daughter of small-business owners, she’s seen firsthand what the right software can do for an operator, a thread she carries directly into her work for the shops Tekmetric serves.
“Tekmetric has built something special: a platform shop owners genuinely rely on, in a market with room to run,” said Young. “What drew me in was a team that leads with mission over ego, paired with the rigor to match. My job is simple: make sure every dollar we invest makes Tekmetric better for shops and their customers.”

She spent nearly five years at SurveyMonkey across M&A, business development and business operations, and helped take the company public. She began her career in investment banking at J.P.
