VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwired) -- 06/23/16 -- Taku Gold Corp. (CSE: TAK) ("Taku" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the closing of its non-brokered private placement totalling $400,000. These funds were raised through the issuance of 5,000,000 units at a price of $0.08 per unit, each unit consisting of one common share and one share purchase warrant entitling the holder thereof to acquire one additional common share of the Company for a period of two years at a price of $0.12. The shares issued pursuant to the private placement, and any shares to be issued on exercise of the share purchase warrants, are subject to a hold period expiring October 19, 2016.
Commissions totalling $10,850 were paid to CIBC Wood Gundy, NBCN Inc. and Canaccord Financial Ltd., as consideration for arranging a portion of the private placement.
The funds raised by way of the private placement will be used for general working capital purposes.
