Susan Potter Joins Mercer as Chief Commercial Officer, US & Canada

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Mercer, a global consulting leader in advancing health, wealth and career and a business of Marsh & McLennan Companies (NYSE: MMC), announced that Susan Potter has joined the company as Chief Commercial Officer, US & Canada. In this role, Ms. Potter will ensure Mercer’s integrated sales and commercial success across the two countries. She reports to Louis Gagnon, President, US & Canada and is a member of the US & Canada Leadership Team. She is based in Washington, DC.

Ms. Potter joins Mercer after a 25-year career at Willis Towers Watson. She most recently served as Managing Director and US East Region Leader. Prior to leading the East Region, she held positions of increasing responsibility such as the Washington, DC Market Leader and the Director of Account Management and Office Practice Leader for the Technology Solutions practice. Ms. Potter was also a member of Willis Towers Watson’s North America Leadership Team, Global HR Advisory Council, Americas Retirement Growth Leadership Team, and was the North America Executive Sponsor for the Gender Equity business resource group.

Susan Potter holds an MBA degree from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln.
