Sunshine Bancorp, Inc. Announces Closing of Equity Raise
PLANT CITY, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Sunshine Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ: SBCP), the parent company of Sunshine Bank, announced that on December 4, 2015 it completed the previously announced sale of 875,000 shares of common stock at a price of $13.92 per share to institutional and accredited investors in a private placement. The Company received net proceeds of approximately $11.5 million from the private placement. The Company intends to use the net proceeds of the offering for general corporate purposes.
Raymond James & Associates, Inc. served as sole placement agent for the private placement.
