Steve Hodkinson Joins Virtas Partners as Managing Director

CHICAGO, April 29, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Steve Hodkinson has joined Virtas Partners as Managing Director. Virtas Partners is an advisory firm helping clients successfully navigate key transitions, including corporate restructurings, IPOs, capital placements and carve-outs.

Hodkinson joins Virtas following more than 16 years at global consulting firm AlixPartners, where he helped client companies resolve organizational and operational challenges and was a key part of successful turnarounds and restructurings of multi-national companies in North America and Europe. He also served in several interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Accounting Officer (CAO) positions for public and private clients in various industries, as well as assuming accounting and reporting advisory roles for companies in Chapter 11 bankruptcy. 

Prior to joining AlixPartners, Hodkinson had CFO and CAO roles at a number of global organizations.  In these roles, Hodkinson had responsibility for accounting and finance organizations in a total of more than 20 countries, directing turnarounds of troubled operations as well as leading the acquisition and integration of numerous businesses.
