St. Paul Area Association of REALTORS Welcomes New CEO John Fridlington

ST. PAUL, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The St. Paul Area Association of REALTORS® (SPAAR) is pleased to formally introduce its new chief executive officer, John Fridlington. Fridlington is responsible for oversight and management of the professional organization, which serves more than 6,000 REALTOR® members who live and work in 11 Twin Cities Metro Area counties.

John began his leadership of SPAAR on January 5 and has used his first months to get up-to-speed with SPAAR operations and the issues impacting members.

“It’s been a pleasure to immediately dig in and learn what’s important to our REALTOR® members and the local communities they serve,” said Fridlington.

Previous to SPAAR, Fridlington was CEO of the Florida Association of REALTORS®, where he served with distinction for 10 years. Before that, Fridlington was CEO of the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® and also served as in-house attorney for the California Association of REALTORS®. He maintains his Attorney membership in the California Bar.

Throughout his career, Fridlington has been very active in the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) activities, including serving on the NAR Finance Committee, Executive Committee and Board of Directors. He is also a Golden R and President’s Circle member of the REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC). In 2007 Fridlington was inducted into the RPAC Hall of Fame.

John holds the NAR designation of REALTOR® Association Certified Executive (RCE) and the American Society of Association Executives designation of Certified Association Executive (CAE). A native of Knoxville, Iowa, he is a graduate of St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa, and the University of Notre Dame Law School in South Bend, Indiana.
