ServiceMaster Appoints James Summerville as Vice President of Supply Management

Summerville Will Be Responsible for Overseeing ServiceMaster’s Strategic Sourcing, Facilities and Procurement
MEMPHIS, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- ServiceMaster Global Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: SERV), a leading provider of essential residential and commercial services, today announced it has named James Summerville as the vice president of Supply Management. Summerville will report to Tony DiLucente, senior vice president and chief financial officer of ServiceMaster.
âJim is a proven leader and brings a valuable understanding of logistics for multi-site businesses, strategic sourcing and cost management,â said DiLucente. âAll of which are vital in helping us drive an increased focus on cost analysis, strategic partnerships and product strategy.â
Summerville will also lead facilities management, real estate, distribution, corporate travel, events management, aviation and product sales. His strong leadership and operational expertise will add significant value to ServiceMasterâs businesses.
Summerville joins ServiceMaster from Parker Hannifin, headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, where he was vice president of supply chain for the filtration group. There he was responsible for inventory management, supplier quality and working capital performance and improvements for the group.
Prior to joining Parker, Summerville was vice president of global supply chain for the Installation Products business unit of ABB (formerly Thomas & Betts), a $42B global corporation. There he managed strategic procurement of $1.1B of direct and indirect material for the international, multi-site business unit.
Previously, Summerville also spent time overseeing the procurement operations of the Fabral and Amerimax divisions of Euramax International. He also held roles of increasing responsibility at Crouse-Hinds, a division of Cooper Industries, and at Southern Container where he began his career.
Summerville earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Towson University in Towson, M.D., and an Associate of Arts in Business Administration from Onondaga College in Syracuse, N.Y.
